About The Momentum Rule

Momentum is created by motion - not motivation. This is where the books, the music, and the method live.

Meet the author

Naomi Shiels

I never planned on being an author. I was a mother of three, working full-time, running a household, and holding everything together while quietly wondering how long I could keep it up. Then my eldest son deployed to the frontline as a volunteer soldier in a foreign war.

I started writing because I had to keep moving as it all fell apart. Momentum became a way to survive - to turn helpless energy into something that moved. By the time I looked up, I’d published six books, recorded fourteen music albums as The Winks, and started a publishing company.

I write for people who feel deeply, think deeply, and occasionally freeze. People who are not broken, just tired.

And I’m still moving.

The Philosophy: Guided Chaos with Rhythm™

Most self-help teaches you to organize your life, find your center, and wait until you feel confident before you make a move. We call bullshit.

Guided Chaos with Rhythm™ is the art of turning turbulence into transformation. It’s the radical acceptance that life is inherently messy, unpredictable, and chaotic - and that this is not a problem to be solved before you start living.

We don’t wait to feel ready or confident. We act first - imperfectly, scared, and unsure - and let clarity follow. We build momentum through rhythm, rebellion, and resilience.

At Wild Hearts Publishing, we are a global creative ecosystem where music, books, games, and humanitarian action pulse together as one.

It's called “You're Not Broken. You're Paused.” and it takes about seven minutes to read. Fair warning: it's going to name the exact thing you've been avoiding.
